American Mahjong for Beginners

Discover the fascinating world of American Mahjong in this engaging 6-week course, perfect for beginners eager to learn this popular tile-based game. Taught by two experienced Owls Club members, this class will guide participants step-by-step through the rules and strategies of American Mahjong. The first session is mandatory as each week builds on the previous one — attending as many sessions as possible is encouraged. If you have a Mahjong set, please feel free to bring it, though it’s not required. Please note: this class covers the traditional American Mahjong game—not the online version found on computers or phones. Space is limited, so registration is required.
