Wood Lathe Demonstration

In this special session held outdoors on our patio, you’ll delve into the artistry of woodturning with our member and instructor, Roger Pletcher. In this demonstration class, Roger will showcase his mastery in crafting exquisite wood and corn cob pens on a wood lathe. You’ll not only learn about the intricacies of operating a wood lathe machine but also gain insights into the types of wood ideal for pen turning. Due to limited space, registration is required to secure your spot. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date of May 22nd (same time) will be arranged to ensure an uninterrupted class experience.
