American Mahjong for Beginners

Due to the success of the first round, which filled up quickly, we’re offering this class a second time for those who missed out or for those who’d like to refresh their skills. Taught by two experienced Owls Club members, this class will guide participants step-by-step through the rules and strategies of American Mahjong. The first session is mandatory as each week builds on the previous, so attending as many sessions as possible is encouraged. If you have a Mahjong set, please feel free to bring it, though it’s not required. Please note that this class covers the traditional American Mahjong game—not the version found on computers or phones. Space is limited, so registration is required.
