Artificial Intelligence (AI) Made Simple

January 29 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm EST
A couple of cartoon owls are brainstorming over a laptop with Artificial Intelligence software on their screen.

Many of us hear the term artificial intelligence but aren’t quite sure what it really means or how it fits into everyday life. Owls Club Board Chair Frank, a technology enthusiast and longtime educator, will lead a four-part introductory series on AI, designed specifically for active aging adults. This practical and approachable class will focus on using tools like ChatGPT as a thinking and writing partner, not a replacement for human judgment. Expect clear explanations in plain English, live demonstrations, and thoughtful discussion about how AI may impact daily life and the workplace, without fear or overwhelm. No prior technology experience is needed, just curiosity. And yes… your grandchildren may very well think you’re pretty cool by the end.
