Understanding Hospice & Palliative Care

In “Understanding Hospice & Palliative Care,”  attendees will gain insight into how these specialized forms of care cater to the holistic needs of individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.  Guest presenter John Mastrojohn, president & CEO of the Center for Hospice Care (Elkhart), will guide us through concepts such as pain management, emotional support, and enhancing the quality of life.  Participants will gain a more accurate and informed perspective and leave with essential communication skills to navigate sensitive discussions about end-of-life preferences with their loved ones.
